Infant Baptism is the ceremony by
Catholics where their infant children are accepted by Jesus and become a
Christian. This is usually a joyous event where the family invites friends
and family to the ceremony performed by a priest, usually in Church.
Note that not all Christian sects approve of infant Baptisms, and it
should be reserved for older children and adults. It is customary to bring
gifts for the child on the day of the ceremony.
